Albert Einstein's scholastic performance in his youth was uninspiring. Though he gained an intense interest in physics at a very early age, he ended up dropping out of school by the time he was just 15. Eventually, he returned to school, excelling in math and physics at the Federal Polytechnic Academy in Zurich. Following graduation, he took a bunch of dead end jobs until he famously ended up in the patent office. There, he formed the now famous theory of relativity (E=mc2) and the photoelectric effect, which earned him the Nobel Prize of Physics in 1921. Even though Einstein conceived all of his groundbreaking theories in a pre-computer world, modern technology has proven that most of his theories and formulas were extremely accurate. Einstein was asked to be the president of Israel but declined and died in 1955.
