He endured numerous surgeries, intense therapy and a long recovery--keeping both of his arms even though mobility was lost and movement restricted. From his therapy and love of wood, Tom discovered carving. With strong determination and his wife's support, Tom's wood carving abilities fully blossomed into a new career.
